SimTech is seeking a Senior-level Computer Analyst with cyber specialty to support simulation laboratories and sites. Position requires work in all phases of the C&A life cycle including: security analysis, development, configuration management, exercise support and ATO sustainment for a Program with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Experience working in the Acquisition Lifecycle and be able develop the Cyber Security Milestone documentation required. Hands-on experience with DoD Cyber Policies and Procedures necessary. Analyst will develop system/network/application Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and artifact documentation. The Cyber Security Analyst will perform DISA STIG reviews to ensure cyber security program compliance with Government statutes, RMF cyber security Controls, DoD FISMA directives, policies and regulations. Personnel will be responsible for identifying, reporting and recommending risk mitigation strategies. The Cyber Security Analyst will conduct periodic risk assessments and vulnerability scans using manual and automated tools in accordance with – primarily using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and SCAP. The Senior Cyber Analyst will also work with a team of Engineers to review C&A documentation for compliance. Responsible for coordination of application security scanning and working with developers on issues and mitigations. Candidate must be able to work multiple projects simultaneously, work independent and as a team in achieving accreditation of several systems with an aggressive schedule. Will be involved with the development, implementation, maintenance, and surveillance of HBSS and ePO server. Qualified applicant may also be required to conduct internal penetration testing of the systems that belong to the MDA Program, in a controlled lab environment. Up to 30% travel expected. The ability to obtain a secret security clearance is required.


Minimum Required Skills

11+ years’ experience in computer cyber security. Experience/understanding of networking protocols from application layers to the Ethernet layers; Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux operating systems; Experience with eMASS; Development of POA&Ms to include IAVA tracking and resolution. Previous experience performing cyber security duties for an MDA program office is preferred. Ability to conduct internal penetration testing of MDA program related systems in a lab environment needed. A DOD 8570-1 level II security certification is required for consideration of employment.

Degree Level

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/MIS/CIS or equivalent experience and certifications.

Minimum Training

Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux. Additional certifications required by management
