SimTech has a senior administrative support opening to assist FSO with overall security program. Primary duties will include the review of personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigations using e-QIP, JPAS, and JCAVS. Provide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel. Secure and maintain all personnel security clearance records. Maintain document and visitor control records; coordinate visit requests. Assist FSO with self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with NISPOM. Enforce standards for a secure environment for the protection of personnel, property and information. Assist with coordination of closeout for all classified contracts received and issued. Must be able to interpret and implement security policy and guidance and provide oversight and assistance to staff. Candidate should be able to demonstrate by knowledge and experience the ability to help the FSO implement and manage a comprehensive Security Program. Support other security disciplines as needed: Information, Personnel, Physical, Operational and Communications Security. Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), CUI and Insider Threat requirements and policies as they pertain to small business in industry. Must have an active Secret clearance, and be clearable for up to a TS/SCI level clearance. Minimum Required Skills
Bachelors and at least 3 years’ experience in government/industrial Security or Associates Degree and 5 years’ experience as AFSO or DoD Security Professional. Military experience or other training may be accepted in lieu of degree or years of experience at the discretion of hiring manager.
In depth knowledge of NISPOM, JPAS and e-QIP, demonstrated success as AFSO or equivalent position
