SimTech is seeking an Entry Level Accountant with Accounts Payable experience. Must be a dedicated person with a strong accounting background. Must be able to multitask as a team player, the assigned duties, directly relating to Government contracting. Primary responsibilities will be Accounts Payable. This includes; coding invoice charges to the correct expense account in Costpoint software, track due dates for invoice payments, and reconcile Accounts Payable account to outstanding invoices and company credit card statements. Other duties include assisting in the monthly invoice preparation, entering travel expense information into Costpoint, assisting in month-end closing, resolving any vendor billing issues, assisting in any internal or external audits, and assisting in the annual DCAA incurred cost submission report. Successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. College students will be considered with a requirement of graduation within one year of start date. Must have previous work experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping.
Minimum Required Skills
Working knowledge of Costpoint, Accounts Payable, and Microsoft Office.
