Simulation Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Senior Engineer w/ Cyber Security Specialty to join our team in Huntsville, supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for cybersecurity analysis of information systems for the purpose of creating a detailed risk assessment. This position will require daily interaction with senior MDA officials and the candidate must be able to do so professionally. Candidate should be capable of leading and executing advanced Cybersecurity Risk Analysis efforts. Candidate will work on a broad spectrum of information systems. Candidate will examine results of vulnerability analysis, STIG, SRG, IAVM and cybersecurity control compliance in order to perform a detailed risk assessment. Candidate will brief authorization recommendations to the MDA Authorizing Official. Candidate should possess significant knowledge of the Risk Management Framework as well as DoD and NIST guidance related to performing risk assessments. DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements:. IASAE Level III Certification.
Minimum Required Skills
15 years of IT experience, with 10 years of dedicated CND or cyber security experience.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required, Master’s Degree is preferred.
