History of SimTech

SimTech was incorporated in the State of Alabama in 1983 by an experienced group of scientists and engineers to pursue and perform on high-technology defense-oriented contracts.

The company was organized to emphasize technical excellence, and has grown to include a cadre of highly educated engineers and scientists, as well as a pool of talented support personnel.

SimTech assures that employee salaries are competitive and that employee benefits are outstanding.

SimTech provides Redstone area services primarily through the AMCOM Express contract. We are partnered with other businesses and universities to provide creative solutions to engineering challenges.

What We Believe In
A word from SimTech President, Dr. Annie Saylor

At SimTech, we pride ourselves on the quality and responsiveness of our work. We believe that our strength lies in our ability to quickly find and then rapidly promote highly intelligent and skilled employees who bring value to our government customers. We offer a depth of knowledge that includes subject matter expertise, technical liaisons, and a growing team of young, gifted and motivated engineers and scientists.

SimTech was founded in Huntsville in 1983 on the belief that members of our SimTech family should be rewarded for their diligence and hard work. We accomplish this through a generous benefits structure, which includes ‘cash in the pocket.’ We also understand that the future of our employees rests in a well-funded retirement plan with a wide array of investments that are owned and wholly controlled by the employee. SimTech believes that corporate overhead should primarily be concentrated on benefits to our employees since our people are our greatest asset.

SimTech appreciates the opportunity to partner with a variety of companies to secure our base of contracts and develop further opportunities.  SimTech’s contracts and accounting personnel are superior in their responsiveness to our prime contractor teammates, while also ensuring that their internal customers, our employees, are fully supported and satisfied.

The SimTech family is proud of our Huntsville heritage as well as our role in supporting the development and testing of Department of Defense technology used to defend and aid our nation’s armed forces. Through a combination of experience and skill, we strive to not only meet our government clients’ expectations but to exceed them by tailoring our approach to the needs of each project and customer.

Outreach

SimTech believes in giving back to the surrounding community and has made corporate contributions to local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math school programs as well as sports activities. We have also matched donations made by employees to charitable organizations.

In 2016, SimTech was a sponsor of CASA’s “A Night in the Garden” fundraising event aimed at raising funds for individuals ages 60 and older and to the homebound of all ages.

SimTech is proud to sponsor the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s “Tech Trek at UAH”, a residential science and math camp designed to develop interest, excitement, and self-confidence in young women.

We also believe in supporting our nation’s veterans through active hiring practices as well as supporting veterans through the Floyd E. ‘Tut’ Fann State Veterans Home.
