Simulations Technologies, Inc. (SimTech), Inc. is currently seeking a full-time ICOFT Configuration and Data Management Analyst in Huntsville, AL to join our growing diverse and dynamic team.
The configuration and data management analyst will provide support to the Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate (S3I) in continuation of the Institutional Conduct of Fire Trainer (ICOFT) sustainment and development of the Radar Training Device (RTD) located onsite at Redstone Arsenal. The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components.
Assist CM Lead in management of engineering changes for completeness and accuracy including configuration identification, control, verification, and status accounting.
Provide guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, and policies in accordance with the S3I Enterprise Process Improvement and Collaboration (EPIC) procedures.
Work with the CM Lead, Project Lead, and the Project Team to ensure that all Configuration Items (CIs) are identified, documented, approved and controlled.
Support the CM Lead in the S3I Configuration Control Board (SCCB) meetings for managing software, hardware and documentation.
Assist with periodic configuration audits to verify integrity of the baselines and CM records; assist in preparing/submitting Engineering Change Proposal (ECP).
Assist with maintaining/updating the Configuration Management Plan; maintain strict version control of all software, hardware and documentation while following the EPIC process.
Ship and track releases to the Customer/Program Office.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining configuration management and document control processes required.
Experience with MS Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint required.
Experience in Dimensions, DigiCat, and CDRLvue preferred.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision; dynamic, highly motivated individual that can effectively demonstrate both technical and communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Active Secret security clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance required.
Bachelor Degree in related technical field from accredited institution.
