These positions require detailed oriented individuals who will perform a variety of tasks including: Radar software performance analysis, Element-level testing and analysis, RF engineer, Radar modeling, design, software and hardware analysis, analyzing radar performance.
The desired candidate will conduct performance analyses and assist other team members in the execution of element and component level testing and analyses.
The applicant will require knowledge of Missile Defense Radar systems, Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) operations and test, and mission data analyses.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.
The desired candidates must be a dynamic, highly motivated individual that can effectively demonstrate both technical and communication skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team is required. Perform other duties as assigned.
5-12 years of demonstrated, applicable experience with radar analysis, simulation and assessment required.
Experience working with Missile Defense radars; specific experience with AN/TPY-2 radar is a plus.
Candidate must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and prime contractor personnel.
A demonstrated understanding of systems engineering processes, missile defense architectures and weapon systems, and Air and Missile Defense radar systems and applications required.
Efficiency in MATLAB script development a must, Linux operating systems knowledge, ability to read ADA and C ++ code a plus, Microsoft Office, and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Missile Defense Radar systems, Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) operations and test, and mission data analyses required.
Experience with verification and validation preferred. Experience working with Missile Defense radars required. U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret security clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant scientific field including: Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics, or relevant scientific Information Systems field.
